Jeffrey M. Cotton

Jeffrey M. Cotton, 69, of Litchfield, NH, died Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua, NH.

He was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 29, 1950, a son of Jack and Janice (White) Cotton. Jeff was a passionate sports fan, especially for the Yankees. His competitive, sarcastic, honest personality always made him the life of the party. He was a hard-working, self-made entrepreneur who took pride in all aspects of his work. But, taking care of those he loved was his greatest accomplishment. Jeff was a proud and loving grandfather and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren being their Tampa.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joan (Bucking) Cotton of Litchfield; three daughters, Jennifer Bonnefond of Readfield, ME, Meghan Dalesandro and her husband Brian of Bedford, NH and Alexandria Cotton of Goffstown, NH; four grandchildren, Jack, Carly, Grant and Leah as well as his sister, Janice Cotton of FL. Jeffrey is predeceased by his brother, Jack Cotton.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 am in the funeral home. The burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Derry Rd., Hudson, NH.
