Laurence “Larry” Taylor

Laurence “Larry” Taylor, 68, of Hudson, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

He was born December 26, 1950 in Hollis, NH, son of the late Gordon and Ruth (Winther) Taylor. Larry was also predeceased by three sisters, Donna Maynard, Laura Laliberte, and Bertina “Tina” Hadlock as well as by a brother, Donald Taylor.

Larry was the husband of Kathryn “Kathy” (Powlowsky) Taylor of Hudson, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.

Larry was employed with Hudson Paving & Excavation for over 45 years. He loved music, caring for his lawn, he grew a passion for reading and most of all, spending time with his two grandchildren. He adored them and was never too busy to attend any of their activities. He also loved his two “grandpuppies” Peggy and Pippa.

Besides his loving wife, Kathy, he is survived by one son, Jason Taylor and his wife Julia and two grandchildren, Jacob and Anna Taylor of Windham, a daughter, Karen Marshall and her husband Jefferey of Eliot, ME, a brother, David Taylor of Pembroke, NH, a sister, Linda Carroll and her husband Raymond of Cummings, GA, and a special brother in law with whom he was very close, Michael Powlowsky and his wife, Melissa, as well as their children, Mikayla and Nastasha, all of Hudson, and several other nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 9th from 3pm-7pm in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 FERRY ST., IN HUDSON. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Tuesday, December 10th at 10am in the funeral home. All are asked to arrive starting at 9:30am. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Hudson.
