George R. Palazzo Sr.

George R. Palazzo Sr., 75, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday morning, December 4, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. George is the beloved husband of Patricia (Elderd) Palazzo with whom he shared 55 wonderful years of marriage.

George was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and was the son of the late Raymond and Amy (Corlette) Palazzo. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until he was honorably discharged in April of 1965.

For many years, he was employed by Owens Illinois as a machinist until his retirement.

In his free time, George was a 3 rd degree Knight, Council # 6063, Foxboro, Massachusetts and he was also a member of the American Legion of Merrimack, New Hampshire. He loved sports but his favorite was football. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Patricia of Nashua, he is survived by five children, Brenda Amorin and her husband Manny of Everett, MA, Christine Zupan and her husband Charles of Brick, NJ, Patti-Ann Palazzo of NJ, George R. Palazzo Jr. and his wife Lauri of Nashua; and John Palazzo of Nashua. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren with one more on the way; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

George was predeceased by his brother Robert Palazzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to George’s visitation on MONDAY, December 9th from 5 until 8 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass/Celebration of Life will be held on TUESDAY, December 10th at 9:30 AM in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring Street, Nashua. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will take place at the convenience of his family.
