Kevin Scott Fogg

Oct 13, 2019

Kevin Scott Fogg, Lewiston, ME passed away peacefully at home on October 4th, 2019 at the young age of 52.

He was born in Bangor, ME on November 22, 1966. He spent many years in Nashua, NH as well as Bolton, CT. He attended Temple St. School and Spring St. Junior High and was a 1984 graduate of Nashua High School where people would remember him for always being the life of the party. He went on to work for Chagnon’s Lumber in Nashua until he was let go after being given the ultimatum to work a full shift or leave early to go to an ACDC concert; we all know which option he chose. His path lead him to an opportunity to work for Hood-McQuestions Lumber in Billerica, MA where he started in the lumber yard and worked his way up throughout the years to become a lumber distribution manager in Manchester, CT.

He truly had a ‘Heart of Gold’ and his will to live is unmatched. No matter what he was going through, he would say ‘I’m fine’. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, fun loving father, loyal friend, and as the ‘little brother’. He would say he lived a good life because in his lifetime he was able to witness the NE Patriots win so many super bowls and the Boston Red Sox win the World series. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and you weren’t alone if you were ever blessed to be on the other side of a phone call with him sharing his favorite tunes and often singing along.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 24 years, Linda M. Cooney-Fogg, his mother Idella M. Fogg, his father Phillip W. Fogg, his brothers Phillip W. Fogg Jr, James H. Fogg, and his sister Janice M. Morand.

He is survived by his stubbornly dedicated daughters Kayla A. Fogg and her partner Joel Morales-Lynch, Kerrie A. Fogg and her partner Anastasia Harris; two step sons Mike Cooney and his wife Rachel Cooney, and Christopher Cooney; his step-granddaughter Maddy Cooney; his grand-dogs Daisy and Jax who will dearly miss him sneaking them their forbidden treats; his many siblings including Dickie Fogg and wife Lorraine, Connie Fogg, Brenda Gagnon, Kendall Fogg and partner Sherri, Cheryl Fogg and partner Wayne, Tammie Fogg and partner Dennis, Pam Jackson and husband Bobby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who were very dear to him as well as many special long-time friends he considered family including Brian Clark and his family, and Ginette Fogg.

Our family would like to give a special thank you to Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME for their outstanding care for Kevin and everlasting support for our family during very difficult times; specifically we would like to thank Dr. Andreas Stefan, Dr. Fernando Moreno, Maria, RN from R3, Aniika, RN and crew of R2, Nicole, RN from CICU, and Taylor Zak, LCSW; and Dr. Ross Wadland from Martin’s Point in Portland, ME.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The White Birch Catering and Banquet Hall, 222 Central St. Hudson, NH 03051 on 11/2 from 11am-2pm where all are welcome to wear their favorite tie dye, Patriots, or Red Sox attire.
