Lisa Coffey

Lisa M. Coffey, 40, resident of Brookline, NH, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2019.

She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 6, 1979, daughter of Ann (Warashina) Yakuma and the late David Okuma. Survived by husband John (Jack) Coffey; children Jack Coffey and Mariko Coffey; brother Reid Yakuma, sister Kristi Yakuma, father-in-law John (Jack) Coffey, sister-in-law Tierney Coffey, loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lisa’s greatest pride were her loving children and husband. She poured her soul into caring for her family and treasured every day with them.

In everything that she did, Lisa manifested love and acceptance. Her capacity to care for and meet the needs of those around her exceeded all expectations. Lisa dedicated her life to provide early intervention services for children on the autism spectrum with passion, creativity and empathy.

Memorial visitation hours are on Thursday, October 3rd from 11 a.m. to noon in the First Congregational Church of Milford, 10 Union Street, Milford, NH. A memorial service will follow at noon in the church. Arrangements are in the care of Smith & Heald Funeral Home.
