Blanche L. (Lagasse) Poulin

NASHUA – Blanche L. (Lagasse) Poulin, 92, of Nashua, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at the Bridges by Epoch surrounded by her loving family.

Blanche was born in Nashua on August 13, 1927, a daughter of the late Donat and Rose Anna (Cote) Lagasse. She was the widow of Walter N. Poulin who died February 12, 2017.

Blanche had been a lifelong resident of Nashua. In her younger years she had been employed at the Nashua Mill until she began her family becoming the wonderful and dedicated mother to her four children. Following Walter’s retirement, they loved to travel, especially to Florida.

In her free time, Blanche loved doing crafts such as knitting, crocheting and beading. She also loved playing games with her family. Blanche was also a collector of Ashley Drake Dolls and she loved salt and pepper shakers of which she collected more than 3000 sets.

Blanche is survived by three daughters; Susan Godin and her husband David of Nashua, Lorraine Turcotte of Nashua and Louise Guest and her husband Richard of Mason, one son; Rene Poulin and his wife Cecile of Hudson, ten grandchildren; Mark Godin, Brooke Brayboy and her husband Louis, Cindy Spencer and her husband Colby, Amy Turcotte and her husband Lee Goupil, Brian Turcotte and his wife Kati, Jennifer Turcotte and her significant other Christopher Meekins, Erica Guest and her significant other Mike Virgin, Richard Guest Jr, Nicholas Guest and his wife Naomi and Tyler Poulin and his significant other Cara Motzi, eight great-grandchildren; Keshon, Amaya, Tyler, Briana, Justin, Kingston, Jordan and Owen, one brother; Armand Lagasse and his wife Muriel of Nashua as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins

Blanche was predeceased by ten brothers and sisters.

SERVICES-There are no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Rd. Nashua at 11 AM.
