Denise Filion

Denise Filion, 54 passed away peacefully Monday, May 20th, 2019 after a period of declining health.

Denise was born and raised in Litchfield and was the daughter of the late Gerald (Pete) and Gisele Filion.

As a child, Denise always had high spirits, lot of energy and the greatest smile. She always found her way into our hearts.

Denise spent her later years in the loving care of her foster mother, Carolyn McLaughlin from Litchfield.

She became a big part of Carolyn’s family where she actually helped raise Carolyn’s children by teaching them how to be tolerant and understanding.

While under Carolyn’s care, Denise lived a very fulfilled exciting life where she was loved by all who came in contact with her.

Denise touched a lot of people through her short life and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to Carolyn and Carolyn’s children, Denise leaves behind her two brothers, Daniel and Donald Filion, her sister Diane, many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.

There will be a service and burial set at a future date. The immediate family will be notified.
