Richard M. Guenard

Fremont, NH – Richard M. Guenard, 64, of Fremont, NH, formerly of Nashua, NH for over 20 years, passed away on November 8, 2018, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, NH. He was born in Melrose, MA on June 22, 1954, son of the late Laurier and Myrtle (Johnson) Guenard. Richard grew up in Everett, MA and was a graduate of Everett High School class of 1972. He attended the University of Lowell and received his bachelor’s degree in engineering. Richard worked in the I.T. industry and was a contractor for many years before his career with Phillips Lifeline in Framingham, MA where he worked until his retirement in 2013. Richard enjoyed reading and learning about the technology industry. He loved spending time at his camp in Maine, exploring the Maine seacoast and most importantly attending his grandkids sporting events. Richard was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Moccia) Guenard in 2003. He is survived by his son, Michael Guenard and wife Jennifer of Epping, NH; his grandchildren, Carlos and Maria Guenard of Epping, NH; his siblings, Wanda Cantrell of Everett, MA, Mark Guenard of Malden, MA and James Guenard of Reading, MA; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 12, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 13th, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett, MA.
