John T. Sumrall

John T. Sumrall born in Honolulu, HI on January 11, 1934 passed peacefully on June 15, 2018.

John served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was aboard the USS Diablo.

After leaving the military, he married Marilyn Mahoney of Cambridge, MA and they celebrated their 62nd anniversary.

They raised five wonderful children; Donna (Sumrall) Brown, Carol (Sumrall) Menard and her husband Frank, Cindy, John and Mark Sumrall. They have nine grandchildren, Shelly Kingsley, Brad and Jen Chacos, Bobby and Maria Kingsley, Justin and Emma Chacos, Heather and Ryan McCarthy, Michael Brown, A.J. Milne, Brian Menard and his husband Chris Kelley.

They have nine great-grandchildren, Delyla, Jaedin, Chelsea, Tristan, Alexandra, Arieana, Emma, Madison and Blaire.

Also nieces, and nephews he loved along with his many friends.

He spent much time in his chair with his fur baby Savannah.

SERVICES: A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 – 5:30. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 5:30 pm (immediately following visitation) in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be held Thursday at 10:30 am with military rites accorded at the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.
