Leo J. Phaneuf

Leo J. Phaneuf, 95, of Nashua, NH, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born on June 24, 1922, in Nashua, NH.

Leo was the beloved husband of Florence (Larose) Phaneuf for 73 years. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Leo worked at the Nashua Post Office and was known as an avid outdoorsman from his youth well into his adulthood. He was athletic and played a variety of sports throughout his life, especially golf. Leo was a member of the Nashua Country Club for 65 years.

Leo is survived by his wife, Florence Phaneuf; his daughters, Lisa (Phaneuf) Belair and Ann Marie Phaneuf; son-in-law, Normand Belair; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
