Evelyn R. Boucher

Evelyn R. Boucher, 85, of Nashua, widow of Rheal J. “Butch” Boucher, passed away Sunday evening, February 11, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital after a period of declining health. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Boucher was born in Haynesville, Maine on September 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Jewell and Laura (Gingras)) Landry. During her youth, Evelyn resided in Hudson and was educated in local schools. A resident of Nashua for the greater part of her life, she had been employed with Nashua Plastics and its successor Irwin Toy and later worked at Bemis Bag until her retirement.

Members of her family include four sons and their wives, Alfred J. and Anne-Marie Boucher of Nashua, Paul J. and Toni Boucher of Merrimack, Patrick M. and Brenda Boucher of Milford and Mark W. and Patti Boucher of Nashua; ten grandchildren, Paul Boucher Jr. and his girlfriend Jessica Desmarais of Milford, Amanda Cormier and her husband Dave of Hudson, Patti-Ann Leccese and her husband Bill of Peterborough, Michael Boucher and his wife Andrea of Beallsville, OH, Kristen Dunbar and her husband Jared of Auburn, NY, Melissa Wright and her husband Stephen of Blacksburg, VA, Maria Tello and her husband Michael of Hudson, Steven Boucher and his wife Caitlin of Hudson, Jessica Pare of Alabama and Corey Boucher of Milford; 19 great-grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, Carter, Mackenzi and Kynli Boucher; Carson, Caelyn and Colin Dunbar; Autumn, Isabelle and Clark Wright; Aria Tello; Benjamin, Jackson and Landon Cormier, Ava and Alexis Leccese, Blake and Brody Boucher; three brothers and their wives, Edward and Faye Landry of Canada, Norman and Penny Landry of Alton, NH and Ronald and Linda Landry of Hudson; a sister, Jeannette Cote of Hudson; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband “Butch” who passed away June 28, 1992; a brother, Raymond Landry; and a sister, Joanne Michie.

Calling hours will be held at the FARWELL FUNERAL HOME, 18 Lock Street, Nashua, Thursday evening, February 15th from 6 to 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held in the funeral home, Friday morning at 10 o’clock followed by interment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
