Victor A. Schulze Jr.

NASHUA- Victor A. Schulze Jr., 83, died peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester; surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the Honorable Joan (Wiener) Schulze to whom he was married for sixty years, father of four and Pops to ten.

Victor was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 12, 1934 and was the son of the late Victor A. Sr. and Alice I. (Fiechter) Schulze. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1955.

He graduated from Stuyvesant High School in Manhattan, NY and he earned his bachelor’s degree from Saint John’s University in Queens, NY.

He started his successful career in the American footwear industry with Thom McAn, a division of Melville Corp, and later became a Vice President of Georgia Boot Company.

He was a devout parishioner and active member of Immaculate Conception Church in Nashua, where he thoroughly enjoyed participating in the daily Mass.

In addition to his wife Joan, Victor is survived by his two daughters, Jeanne E. Schulze and her husband Thomas Hoose of Nashua and Victoria L. Robinson and her husband Scott of Merrimack; his two sons, Glynn William Schulze and his wife Elaine of Amherst, and Stephen C. Schulze and his wife Anna of Leverkusen, Germany. Victor greatly adored his eight grandchildren, Julia Fretwell and her husband Mark, Kate Nadeau and her husband Ross, Melia Robinson, Dylan Schulze, Suzanne Mazak, Peter Robinson, Willem Schulze, and Anders Schulze; his two great-grandchildren, Mila and Eloise. Victor also leaves behind his brother Ernest Schulze and his wife Anne of West Sayville, NY, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on THURSDAY, February 15thfrom 3 until 7 PM at ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley Street, Nashua. His Funeral Mass will be held on FRIDAY, February 16th at 10 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Road, Nashua. Interment will take place in the New Hampshire Veteran Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
