Humane Society provides update on rescued animals from Hudson

By Staff | Jan 17, 2021

On August 13, 2019, the Humane Society for Greater Nashua and the Hudson Police Department rescued 30 animals; an assortment of cats, guinea pigs, chickens and rabbits from a home in Hudson. From that day until now, we were required to hold these animals in Protective Custody due to the ongoing court case. It has been a long seventeen months for these animals. This past week, the court case came to a close and the animals became the property of the Humane Society. We are now able to provide a full range of veterinary services and help these animals find loving homes.

Our daily routine continues as we not only care for these new rescues, but also our everyday releases and strays from the surrounding communities. Over 3,000 animals come through our doors each year. As we move forward and look to find good homes for those rescued, we hope all will eventually be settled in their forever homes.
