Manchester (113), Nashua (108), Bedford (64) and Warner (46) had the most cases of COVID-19, and Nashua and Manchester were both still listed Sunday with community transmission level’s highest label “substantial.”
On Sunday, Belknap, Merrimack, Rockingham and all of Hillsborough Counties except Nashua and Manchester were labeled “moderate” and the rest of the state “minimal” for overall community transmission of the virus.
The overall level of community transmission is defined using three metrics: New Cases per 100k over 14 days; New Hospitalizations per 100k over 14 days; and 7-Day PCR Test Positivity Rate.
Several cases are still under investigation. Additional information from ongoing investigations will be incorporated into future COVID-19 updates. Of those with complete information, there are twelve individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 47% being female and 53% being male. The new cases reside in Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (15), Rockingham (14), Merrimack (9), Belknap (3), Strafford (3), Coos (2), Cheshire (1), Grafton (1), and Sullivan (1) counties, and in the cities of Manchester (12) and Nashua (6). The county of residence is being determined for three new cases.
No new hospitalized cases were reported. There are currently 17 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. None of the new cases had no identified risk factors. Community-based transmission continues to occur in the State and has been identified in all counties. Of those with complete risk information, most of the cases have either had close contact with a person with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis or are associated with an outbreak setting.
In New Hampshire since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 9,694 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed with 761 (8%) of those having been hospitalized.
