Ouellette laid to rest

LONDONDERRY, NH – On Monday, nearly 100 cars left the Peabody Funeral Home escorting the body of Ssgt. Ronald J. Ouellette to his final resting place.

Ouellette, USAF, 23, of Merrimack, died Sept. 14 in Kuwait from injuries suffered in an ATV accident.

The vehicles, which included family and friends, were escorted by a large number of police officers, and the Patriot Riders. The escort traveled from Londonderry to the Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

Merrimack Fire and Londonderry Fire set up two ladder trucks with the U.S. flag displayed over the vehicles traveling on Mammoth Road.

Ouellette was born in Derry on May 7, 1997, a son of Kerry (Jones) Slade and Ronald Ouellette. He had been a resident of Merrimack for several years, and was raised in Londonderry. He was a graduate of Londonderry High School, class of 2015.
