67th annual Greeley Park Arts Show kicks off on Saturday

By Staff | Aug 22, 2020

NASHUA – The Nashua Area Artists Association will present the 67th annual Greeley Park Art Show, featuring outstanding artists from 17 cities and towns from New Hampshire and Massachusetts this weekend.

The Greeley Park Art Show has been a summer tradition in Nashua since the early 1950s, and a beloved part of Nashua’s history.

Artists will be exhibiting their artwork on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Greeley Park, 100 Concord St. in Nashua. There is no charge for attending the show. There is plenty of free parking.

Artists will be displaying their artwork in diverse mediums such as oils, acrylic, watercolors, pastels/drawing, mixed media, jewelry, photography and digital art. Works vary in price range from under $20 to over $1,000.

For the safety of our artists and the show attendees, tents will be spread out to help encourage social distancing requirements. Due to state COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that all attendees wear a cloth face mask covering their nose and mouth. There will be hand sanitizer available at various locations throughout the show.

People will be able to purchase raffle tickets during the show to benefit the Educational Fund. Items include donated art works from the artists and gift certificates from area merchants. Names will be chosen at random on Sunday afternoon, but you do not have to be there to win. The Educational Fund helps the NAAA with community outreach, demonstrations, and of course the annual scholarships.

For art lovers across the region, it just isn’t summer without the Greeley Park Art Show. We welcome everyone to come spend a few hours enjoying the work of talented artists, and participate in one of the Nashua community’s landmark events.

The Greeley Park Art Show is welcoming to all ages, well-behaved dogs, and even pigs (yes, there were pigs there last year!). There is no charge for attending the show. There is plenty of free parking. More information can be found on line at www.nashuaarts.org or by visiting our facebook page at www.facebook.com/NashuaAreaArtistsAssociation.

The Nashua Area Artists Association is an all-volunteer 501©(3) organization that was established in 1951. The NAAA has a gallery, ArtHub located at 107 W. Pearl St. Nashua. Due to COVID-19, it is open Saturdays and Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
