MERRIMACK – Jon Eriquezzo, for the past year the vice president of Meals on Wheels, a St. Joseph Community Services program, has been named SJCS president, succeeding longtime president Meghan Brady.

Eriquezzo, whose official start date as president is Aug. 1, came to SJCS after several years in various leadership posts with the Crotched Mountain Foundation, a multi-faceted agency and school based in Greenfield.

Brady, who is retiring after 25 years as SJCS president, said she is “thrilled with the choice” of Eriquezzo as her successor.

“Jon brings relevant experience and excellent management and operational skills” to his new position, Brady said.

“In addition, he exemplifies the agency’s mission.”

Eriquezzo was the unanimous choice of the SJCS board of directors, chairman James P. Harris said.

He was selected unanimously “among a competetive field of candidates,” Harris said, adding that board members “look forward to working with Jon as we meet both present and future challenges.”

Before coming to SJCS as Meals on Wheels vice president, Eriquezzo served as vice president of innovation and executive director of residential services at Crotched Mountain.

His responsibilities included overseeing its assistive technology division and its HUD housing program, which focuses on housing for seniors and people with disabilities.

Eriquezzo was also responsible for providing housing, residential and day supports to nearly 200 children, adults and seniors.

He is a graduate of Springfield College, where he earned a bachelor of science in human services and a masters in organizational management and leadership.

He also earned certification in community healthcare management from Antioch University New England.

SJCS, with headquarters at 395 Daniel Webster Highway, “is dedicated to promoting better physical and mental health of older and other qualified adults in Hillsborough County through the provision of nutritious meals and vital wellness checks,” according to a statement from an agency spokesman.

“SJCS also strives to meet the diverse needs of its clients through volunteerism and extensive collaboration with other community services.
