With the shopping equivalent of Opening Day at two local malls earlier this week, teams of volunteers from the United Way of Greater Nashua were on hand to distribute free face masks. Nashua’s Pheasant Lane Mall and the Merrimack Premium Outlets Mall reopened Monday morning. Dozens of volunteers worked in shifts, said Sara Ceaser, left, United Way director of volunteer and community engagement.
