Online, telephonic services usher in Passover tonight
NASHUA – Utilizing social media to its fullest, Rabbi Jon Spira-Savett will conduct Temple Beth Abraham’s first “virtual observance” of Passover beginning this evening.
“It is crucial that we observe Passover in accord with stay-at-home and social distancing mandates,” Spira-Savett wrote in one of several posts to www.tbanashua.org/passover-2020.html, a special Website he set up for Passover related activities.
He asked members to “not have people from outside your household in your house for a Seder,” adding that he and the leadership “are committed to helping everyone observe and celebrate Pesach,” or Passover.
Various links on the site guide users through the registration process. Spira-Savett said there is no charge to register, but registration is required.
The site also provides the phone numbers needed to register or join a virtual service.
