Share Some Good News – March 31 – Collins Brothers

By Staff | Mar 31, 2020

NASHUA – When it comes to comfort, warmth and nourishment from a meal, we often think of soups and chowders. Collins Brothers Chowder Company has been filling the bowls, bellies and hearts of Nashua area residents for over 15 years, and the recent turn of events felt worldwide have not made a single dent in their commitment to doing so. Dan Largy and business partner and cook Robert Hughes view every single customer as an integral part of their success, and that of the community. We could not agree more.

Collins Brothers is a seasonal shop, opening their doors in the Fall and locking up in late Spring. The anticipation leading up to their Autumn reopening every year is palpable. It’s simple: Dan and Robert put nothing but love and quality ingredients into their food, because they want to give us their best.

The menu at Collins Brothers is partially rotating, offering select soups and chowders every day, as well as daily specials. On a regular basis, we can choose from the likes of a rich and buttery Clam Chowder, savory Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and a hearty Texas Style Chili. Select soups can also be ordered ahead of time in ready-to-heat and portionable sealed gallon bags. Daily specials include favorites such as Nantucket Fish Chowder, Stuffed Pepper Soup, or Santa Fe Corn Chowder. A warm and crusty baguette for an additional dollar is the perfect side. Weekly ready-to-heat meals are also available. You can often choose from Chicken Pot Pie, Macaroni and Cheese, and a Pot Roast Dinner, just to name a few. All daily and weekly specials are listed on their website and Facebook page.

Collins Brothers Chowder Company is a shining example of New Hampshire charm and hospitality. They strive to welcome every single customer through their doors, to provide warm and delicious meals for wallet-friendly prices, and to support their community through thick and thin. With folks like them in our collective corner, we are sure to get through any challenge in our future. Call ahead for your order, and be sure to thank Dan and Robert for being part of our amazing food service industry here in the Greater Nashua Area.
