NASHUA – Chartered in 1923 by Lions Clubs International, the Nashua Lions Club is part of the world’s largest service organization. The Lions are a network of volunteers in the community who come together to answer the needs that challenge Nashua residents.

The Nashua Lions will be awarding up to $5,000 in scholarships. An applicant must be a Nashua resident and a 2020 senior at any Nashua high school. Applicants must provide proof of acceptance from a post-secondary institution, including a four-year, two-year, vocational or trade school.

Interested students must complete the Nashua Lions scholarship application and return it to the club by May 1. Scholarships will be at the discretion of the committee. Award recipients will be notified in late May and will be invited to attend a meeting of the Nashua Lions on June 1 to accept the award.

Applications may be picked up at Bishop Guertin, Nashua North, Nashua South and the Academy of Science and Design, or by downloading it from the club Web page at nashualionsclub.org.
