Missing: police now seeking a third individual

By ADAM URQUHART - Staff Writer | Feb 3, 2020

NASHUA – Three individuals have now disappeared in Nashua after police requested assistance in locating April Bailey earlier this week.

Bailey now joins Michael Jones and Michael McClain as missing, with both Jones and McClain going unaccounted for by law enforcement for months.

“To have the two like we did last year and have not located them yet, or haven’t accounted for them yet, is somewhat out of the ordinary for the Nashua Police Department,” Lt. Daniel Mederos acknowledged.

BAILEY

Bailey has now been missing for more than two weeks. Bailey, 36, of Nashua is described as a 5’3, 130 pounds female with dark hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing slippers, pajama pants and a black jacket.

Relatives of Bailey reported she was last seen in Nashua on Jan. 15, while family and friends have not been in contact with Bailey since. Officials said that at the time of her disappearance, Bailey was staying in the area of Lynn Street in Nashua. Her family contacted Nashua police to report her missing on Jan. 20.

Mederos said there is nothing overly suspicious at this point, but detectives just became involved in the investigation within the last few days. Mederos emphasized he does not believe Bailey is a danger to herself or others.

JONES AND McCLAIN

Bailey’s disappearance comes nearly a year after another individual went missing within Nashua back in January 2019. According to a press release police issued on May 15, Jones, 34, was last seen in Nashua on Jan. 17, 2019. His mother, Susan Springer, has described Jones as being about 5’8, 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

McClain is also still missing after disappearing in Nashua in April. McClain went missing in the early morning hours of April 21 after vanishing in the aftermath of an altercation at Nashua bar. Reports have since circulated saying McClain was not involved in that altercation. Either way, his whereabouts still remain unknown. McClain is described as being 5’10, with brown eyes, but wears green contacts, has tattoos on his hands and arms and braids in his hair.

Mederos declined to provide much information, but said both men are still classified as missing. He said their families are kept updated on the status and findings of police.
