Man tackled in P.D. after flashing pistol
MANCHESTER — Khalid Dibi, 30, of Manchester, faces numerous charges after he allegedly pointed a gun while inside the the police department.
At 10:15 a.m. Monday, Dibi walked into the department and told the counter clerk he wanted to report a stolen gun. Dibi then allegedly pulled the gun out of a bag and pointed it outward.
Numerous officers responded. They made verbal commands for him to surrender. When he did not, they deployed a Taser against him. Dibi was then taken into custody.
Dibi faces charges of criminal threatening, reckless conduct, receiving stolen property, and preventative detention.
