NASHUA – Residents will have the opportunity to provide input on the city’s Downtown Riverfront lighting project tonight.

The preliminary plans for lighting the Downtown Riverfront on display at 6 p.m. in the second floor activity room at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St.

The city’s lighting design professionals Lumen Studios Inc., will be on hand to hear and record residents’ input on design options that best meet the needs of the community. City officials contracted with Lumen earlier this year to help create a comprehensive plan for the lighting the Riverwalk.

One of the premier priorities of the Downtown Riverfront Master Plan is to improve pedestrian scale lighting along the Riverwalk to increase safety, while drawing people to the public spaces along the city’s Riverwalk.

If residents cannot make it out to the meeting, or would like more information, they can contact Nashua Director of Community Development Sarah Marchant at marchants@nashuanh.gov, or 603-589-3095.
