Colorado’s Bennet coming to Nashua

By Staff | Apr 5, 2019

NASHUA – U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., is set to swing through the Gate City this weekend while considering a run for president.

Bennet has been a senator since 2009. According to information presented by his office, he believes the process for running for the highest seat in the country begins by having an honest conversation about ending the political dysfunction in Washington, D.C.

This will be Bennet’s second time visiting New Hampshire, the first-in-the-nation primary state. He will be making multiple stops in New Hampshire on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. These events will include several gatherings and house parties. He will also be visiting a school in the Nashua School District on Monday to meet with students and teachers.

Bennet is scheduled to appear from 4:30-6 p.m. Saturday at jajaBelle’s, 182 Main St., Nashua, for a town hall-style event.
