CONCORD – Danien Brousseau, 40, of Manchester, was sentenced on Tuesday to 90 months in prison for bank robbery, U.S. Attorney Scott Murray said.

According to court documents and statements made in court, at approximately 2:30 p.m. April 16, 2018, Brousseau robbed the St. Mary’s Bank in Manchester. At approximately 7:30 p.m. that evening, a Manchester police officer in the area of Pine Street and Lake Avenue observed Brousseau and arrested him.

Brousseau previously pleaded guilty on Dec. 14.

“Violent crimes such as bank robberies endanger public safety,” Murray said. “The law enforcement community in New Hampshire works together to protect the public from violent crime and to ensure that there are substantial consequences for those who commit these crimes. I commend the Manchester police for quickly apprehending this bank robber.”

“Mr. Brousseau only cared about lining his own pockets with stolen cash. With today’s sentence, he’s finally being held accountable for his crime and the FBI will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to combat violent crimes, including bank robberies, so that citizens can feel safe in their communities,” Joseph R. Bonavolonta, special agent in charge of the FBI Boston Division, said.
