Rotary awards nearly $30,000 in scholarships

NASHUA – The Rotary Club of Nashua is pleased to announce the following scholarship awards for 2018 to deserving recipients in the Nashua area:

 Madelaine Duda, Nashua High School South: Faucher/Arsenault scholarship of $10,000 over four years. She will be attending Springfield College – in Springfield, Massachusetts to study Communication Sciences & Disorders, Speech Pathology.

 Sithara Nambiar, Bishop Guertin High School: $10,000 over four years. She will be attending Tufts University in Boston to study medicine.

 Anson O’Young, Nashua High School North: $3,000 for one year. He will be attending Brown University in the fall where he will major in biochemistry.

 Molly Plaistead, Nashua High School South: $3,000 for one year. She will be studying music composition and theory at University of Massachusetts Amherst in September.

Adult Learner: Candace Gordon – currently Child Care Director at Marguerite’s Place: $2,500. She is completing a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education/Human Services.
