Hassan issues statement ahead of Labor Day
U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan released the following statement ahead of Labor Day:
“Labor Day is a time to reflect on the incredible achievements of the workers who have stood up for more reasonable hours, higher pay, and safer working conditions for themselves and future generations. Over the last year and a half especially, we have seen American workers continue to step up and do the essential work that fuels our economy and provides for our families. The pandemic has also underscored that we must do more to protect American workers and expand economic opportunity, and I will continue to push for policies that lift up our workers.”
