CONCORD – Senate President Donna Soucy and Senate Majority Leader Dan Feltes released the following statements in response to the announcement of Associate Commissioner Christine Tappan’s resignation from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services:

“Associate Commissioner Tappan has been essential in helping guide our state through the coronavirus pandemic,” stated Senate President Donna Soucy. “I thank her for her work and wish her well in her next venture.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Associate Commissioner Tappan on a number of initiatives, including a comprehensive children’s system of care for New Hampshire” added Senate Majority Leader Dan Feltes. “That work took us across the state and to New Jersey with other dedicated public servants to review best practices and develop a better system for the Granite State. I wish her all the best in her future endeavors and thank her for all the work she has done to make New Hampshire a better place to live.”
