Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health shares COVID-19 recovery efforts through virtual community webinar series

By Staff | Jul 3, 2020

LEBANON – Since mid-May, COVID-19 recovery efforts have been successfully underway at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health (D-HH). Although elective procedures and appointments are beginning to fill the calendars, some patients still have reservations about how we will protect them as they seek care at our health care locations.

To help address community concerns, D-HH is launching a four-part webinar series on Wednesday, July 8, at noon EST. The 20-minute series will air each Wednesday on the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Facebook page and will feature D-HH experts discussing what to expect when you come to one of our locations; safety steps we have taken in cleaning; securing personal protective equipment for patients, staff and visitors; and continuing to provide nutritious food. Associate Chief Quality Officer for Patient Experience Carol Majewski, MHCDS, MS, RN will moderate these discussions.

“Although COVID-19 remains a concern in our region and across the country, we want to be sure our patients and community members know that we are safe, our locations are clean and we are ready to care for them,” says Majewski. “We want to reassure people, so that they don’t put off their regularly scheduled appointments or any immediate needed care. We have taken very deliberate steps to keep everyone safe, and we want to share what those steps are and address any concerns that people have. That’s why we created this series.”
