United Way of Greater Nashua recently announced $1.1 million in 3 year funding for 24 different local nonprofits in the areas of health, education, and economic mobility. These grantees, representing 33 different programs, support a strong and resilient community safety net. Making decisions and recommendations based on date, over 20 United Way volunteers deliberated on the various program proposals and utilized information from United Way’s Community Needs Assessment as the key input for their process. These volunteers, led by Jay Dinkel, Deb Novotny, Mike Martinez, and Bob Mack collaborated closely with our Director of Community Impact Liz Fitzgerald, to grant funds in accordance with the measurable needs of our community. This round of 3-year funding will make a big difference in the lives of those who live and work in our community, uplifting us all.”
