Merrimack Friends and Families Makes Donation

By Staff | Sep 4, 2021

Merrimack Friends and Families, a social and service organization, recently made $19,000 in charitable donations to local organizations and charities. The MFF board felt it was important to give to those that support our community. Donations were made to the Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support, Merrimack Community Food Pantry at St. James, Merrimack Parks & Recreation Camp Naticook Scholarship Fund, Merrimack School District Social Services, which helps Merrimack’s homeless families with school age children, and St. John Neumann’s food pantry. Even though the group had limited activities this past year because of COVID-19, MFF was able to raise monies from our annual fall yard sale and Halloween and Winter Carnival bake sales. It also received a donation from participation in The River Casino & Sports Bar charitable gaming event. Merrimack Friends & Families club members do whatever they can to support our community, especially during this time. MFF is a registered 501c3. It is both a social and a service organization, offering a way for women and their families to get involved and to have fun. The group is looking forward to the start of the new club year in September, and continuing to support our community. Membership is open to all residents of Southern New Hampshire.
