Artists go virtual at Creative Ventures

By Staff | Nov 25, 2020

MILFORD – Creative Ventures Gallery has gone virtual.

In addition to the Small Works-Big Impact Show that was virtually launched recently, the gallery is now displaying online the works of several area artists just in time for the holiday shopping season.

This show can be viewed at www.creativeventuresfineart.com by clicking on the Local Artists Gallery tab in the upper right corner of the home page, or bring your mask and stop by the Gallery at 411 Nashua St. Also, check out the Small Works-Big Impact Show using the labeled home-page tag.

Area artists represented include Phil Bean, Mike Brazao, Chris Bower, Paul Ducret, Elaine Farmer, David Harris, Alfred “Chief” Johnson, Howard Muscott, Chris Reid, Sugitha Srinivasan, Joan Tierney, and Carol-Ann Wernoch.

Not displayed online but available in the Gallery is a group of modestly priced framed watercolor prints as well as matted original watercolors by Emily Louise Keene-Johnson.

“Promoting the work of local artists has long been my goal,” said Betsy Craumer, owner-operator of the gallery. “I am pleased to finally be able to use technology to launch this step in the process. Whether new homeowner, collector, patron or gift seeker, Creative Ventures offers a variety of price points.

“Needless to say, we are postponing openings and all other group gatherings for the duration of the pandemic, although we are continuing small classes under appropriate health safety guidelines,” Craumer said.
