Information Regarding New Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students

Any child currently enrolled does not need to register for the next school year.

Parent/Student Registration

New Kindergarten and 1st Grade online registrations are now available online.

Please register online and upload the following required documents while you register.

• Proof of Residence (Purchase/Lease Agreement, Deed, Tax Bill or Town Affidavit)

• Copy of child’s Birth Certificate

• Immunization Records

• Current Physical Exam

Beginning with the 2020-2021 School Year: Children must be five years of age on or before September 30th to attend Kindergarten. (The policy of the Hudson School Board is to admit students to kindergarten whose fifth birthday occurs on or before September 30.)

Children whose sixth birthday occurs on or before September 30 must enroll in first grade. (This policy is in accordance with New Hampshire RSA 193:1 Duty of Parent; Compulsory Attendance by Pupil: A parent of any child at least 6 years of age and under 18 years of age shall cause such child to attend the public school to which the child is assigned in the child’s resident district. Such a child shall attend full time when such school is in session. The School Board will entertain no exceptions to this date.)
