MERRIMACK – Matt Larson and Alex Aiello, of Merrimack, competed in the New Hampshire Special Olympics State Basketball Tournament in Derry on April 12-13.

Participants included 650 athletes, 100 coaches and 300 volunteers.

In addition to team competition, Special Olympics basketball offers individual skills competition, which allows athletes to develop fundamental skills.
