NASHUA – Parents of children up to age 5 are invited to get out of the house and connect with other parents at the Ultimate Free Play Date program offered by the Family Resource Center of Greater Nashua.

The program, which offers young children the opportunity learn socialization skills, have fun and make friends, also serves as a bonding experience between parent and child and offers an ideal way for parents to reduce stress, share experiences and develop resources to enrich the experience of being a parent.

The drop-in program is offered each Tuesday from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, 47 Grand Ave. Upcoming programs are scheduled for June 4, 11 and 18. The program will not meet on June 25.

There is no charge to participate. The play date is facilitated by the professional staff from Child and Family Services.

Preregistration for the playgroup is strongly suggested. Please call Lori Fowler at the Boys & Girls Club at 883-0523, ext. 215, by the Monday prior to the program date. Registration can also be done by emailing FRCNashuaPrograms@gmail.com. Please specify that you are registering for the “Ultimate Free Play Date” in your email.

The Family Resource Center of Greater Nashua is a collaborative effort of a group of Nashua family-serving organizations led by the Adult Learning Center, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua, Child and Family Services, Prevention Makes Cents, Southern New Hampshire Services and the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension-Hillsborough County.

The Family Resource Center of Greater Nashua provides an ongoing schedule of programs on a variety of topics. Many are offered free. Complimentary child care is available for many programs.
