Nashua Memorial Day parade set for Monday

NASHUA – The Nashua Memorial Day parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 27.

All officers, enlisted men and women of the U.S. armed forces are invited to participate.

In case of inclement weather, a veterans service will be held at the American Legion Coffee Post 3, 11 Court St.

The parade will form at Holman Stadium at 9:45 a.m. It will proceed east on Amherst Street to Main Street and then to Lake Street, ending at Elm Street Middle School.

The speaker of the day is Ed Lecius.

For cemetery ceremonies, meet at 7 a.m. at American Legion Post 3, 11 Court St., or Disabled American Veterans Chapter 7, 31 Cross St.

The parade roster will include:

Van guard.

Nashua Police Department motorcycles.

Band – Nashua High School South.

Nashua Police Department and Nashua Fire Rescue color guards.

Co-Grand Marshalls Robert Bell and Greg Andruskevich.
