Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire elects Dr. Caroline E. Clerisme and Leesa A. Smith as board directors

CONCORD – Delta Dental Plan of New Hampshire announces the election of two new directors to its board, Dr. Caroline E. Clerisme and Leesa A. Smith. Both will serve a three-year term.

Dr. Clerisme is an associate dentist at Amoskeag Urgent Dental where she performs preventive, emergency and restorative treatments, endodontics, oral surgery and prosthodontics. Prior to joining Amoskeag Urgent Dental, she served as a clinical instructor at Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine – Boston University. She was awarded a Doctor of Dental Medicine from

Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Suffolk University.

Dr. Clerisme is also the founder of Doctors out of Debt, an organization that helps doctors to create generational wealth and eliminate debt simultaneously. Additionally, she is the co-author of Lily and the Talking Piggybank: Let’s Learn about Money, a children’s book about financial literacy.

As Division CFO/Senior Director Post-Merger Integration for Freudenberg Filtration Technologies LP, Leesa A. Smith is responsible for the fiscal and strategic planning and post-merger integration of newly acquired companies forming the $150 million branded consumer product business in the US. In addition to her current title, she has held several positions of increasing responsibility at the company, providing leadership and managing numerous finance functions.

A Certified Public Accountant, Smith received an MBA in International Business from the University of New Hampshire, Whittemore School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Plymouth State College.
