By Staff | Jan 9, 2021

NASHUA – Millyard Bank, the area’s newest community bank, which opened for business one year ago, recently announced that its directors and executive management team would donate $25,000 to a dozen local nonprofit agencies to ensure the holidays are a little brighter for all.

Millyard Chairman John P. Stabile II, provided the lead gift of $10,000 through his family foundation. Stabile then emailed members of the board of directors and within 30 minutes, the board’s 11 other members and members of the bank’s executive management team committed an additional $15,000.

“The pandemic has been a disruptor for many families and businesses within our community, and as a community bank we feel strongly about supporting the agencies who serve our most vulnerable residents,” said Stabile. “We are committed to being not only a great banking partner, but to being an active member of our community. We want to do our part to help provide for those in need.”

The $25,000 raised by Millyard Bank’s leadership team will support the following agencies: The Salvation Army, Girls Inc. of New Hampshire, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua, Nashua Children’s Home, YMCA of Greater Nashua, Marguerite’s Place, Front Door Agency, Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter, The Humane Society for Greater Nashua, Home, Health & Hospice Care Community Hospice House, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire (Nashua), and Corpus Christi Food Pantry and Assistance.

Millyard President and CEO G. Frank Teas said the donation checks were mailed to each agency before Christmas.
