By Staff | Sep 11, 2011

MERRIMACK – Local precision plastic manufacturing firm Tech Inc. is saving big bucks over its decision to install energy-saving machinery.

Tech Inc., which recently installed an energy-efficient 400-ton electric plastic injection molding machine, qualified for a $65,264 rebate under the NH Saves @ Work New Equipment & Construction Rebate program.

The PSNH program offers commercial and industrial customers rebates needed to install energy-efficient equipment including energy-efficient lighting, motors, HVAC systems, chillers, variable frequency drives, and air compressors. There are also custom rebates for non-prescriptive equipment and other qualifying measures where companies save kilowatt-hours, according to the program Web site.

The New Equipment & Construction Program also offers technical assistance to help customers identify and purchase premium energy-efficient equipment and measures.

“The goal of this program is to help customers lower their energy costs while also improving their work environment and increasing profitability,” PSNH account executive Phil Boivin said in a statement.

For more information about the program visit www.psnh.com/SaveEnergyMoney/Large-Power/New-Equipment—Construction-Program.aspx or contact your PSNH account executive at 1-800-662-7764.
