SolutionHealth furloughs 650 workers, reduces hours for others, paycut for senior leaders
SolutionHealth, the parent company of Nashua’s Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and Elliot Health System in Manchester, announced Thursday morning it is moving 650 employees to “temporary furlough status,” while reducing senior leaders’ salaries by 15 percent.
Another 750 employees are working reduced hours, or have had their salaries cut “due to low activity in their work settings,” according to the SolutionHealth statement, which was issued by Suzanne Tammaro, Vice President of Marketing and Development, and Stephanie Brooks, Public Relations and Communications Manager.
Furloughed employees will continue to receive their benefits, and company officials said they will work with employees who file for unemployment benefits.
