From The Telegraph Files

By Staff | Oct 10, 2020

Most photographs are identified on the back, but someone apparently took the time to either stencil or print in white lettering the information about this January 1950 photograph, which was one of several that came to us from Pat Corbin, who's late husband, Dick, was a Nashua Exchange member at one time. As was customary at the time, the club made a local celebrity an honorary member--in this case it was Major League catcher George "Birdie" Tebbetts, who was from Nashua. Presenting the token card are president Roland Riviere, left, and membership chairman Edgar Caron.
