Police: Child in speeding car

By Staff | Jun 27, 2016

German Zamora, the 21-year-old Nashua man arrested Sunday for allegedly driving more than 100 mph on the Everett Turnpike, faces four charges – one of which stems from his 1-year-old daughter being in the car at the time, police said.

State Police Trooper Stefan Czyzowski, a member of Troop B out of Bedford, was patrolling the Everett Turnpike in Nashua shortly after 10 a.m. when, police said, he spotted a 2012 Infiniti G37x traveling south at a high rate of speed.

Czyzowski determined the vehicle was going 107 mph in a 55 mph zone, police said. He was able to stop the car, at which time he identified the driver as Zamora and discovered the child in the car.

Czyzowski charged Zamora with one count each of reckless conduct; endangering the welfare of a child; transportation of drugs; and an open container violation, for allegedly having an open container of alcohol in the car.

Police didn’t specify whether Zamora was freed on bail, nor did they give a date for his arraignment.
