Granite State ready to rock again

By Staff | May 13, 2021

On May 30, five bands will bring their top-shelf tribute shows to Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford, NH. The show, promoted by New England-based Rock Stage Productions is billed as Titans of ’80s Rock Tribute Festival. The show promises to deliver a large, live concert experience with a day full of classic ’80s rock anthems – the first large rock concert to grace New Hampshire’s stages in over fifteen months. Some of the nation’s best tribute bands have been chosen to deliver the goods – AC/CD Tribute Band – Dirty Deeds; Wanted DOA The – Authentic Bon Jovi Experience; Def Leppard Tribute – Rock of Ages; Shot of Poison – The Tribute to the 35th Anniversary of Poison; and Scarab – The Journey Experience. Rock Stage Productions co-founder, Adam Boc stated, “Music fans are ready to attend a live rock & roll event. With larger national acts still trying to navigate post-covid tour routing, we’re glad to quickly put together and bring a show featuring top talent, huge hits and a rock concert experience to the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion. On Sunday, May 30th, we’re going to party like it’s 1989. Unlike 2020, this Memorial Day weekend we will be experiencing a big rock & roll concert, not memorializing one. With it being a Holiday weekend and camping available on-site, we do believe rock fans from all over New England will be making a road trip.”

The show must go on? The show will go on. With New Hampshire showing improving covid numbers and percentage of people receiving vaccinations, it has eased restrictions in most industries. By allowing live concert venues to reopen with reasonable limitations, the entertainment industry of NH is ready to awaken from a long shutdown. With socially spaced seating pods, a fraction of attendance capacity, and covid guidelines in place, venues are opening again. It appears the Granite State is ready to rock again after being dark for over a year.
