NH man charged with assaulting 3 officers
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A New Hampshire man who’s been arrested five times since Jan. 1 is back in jail after assaulting several Concord police officers.
Police say 22-year-old Christopher Holland seriously injured two Concord police officers and caused minor injuries to a third when he resisted arrest for standing in busy driving lanes on Monday in downtown Concord. Two of the officers will likely be out of work for a time.
The Concord Monitor reports that officers used a stun gun but it was ineffective. They believe Holland was under the influence of drugs.
A judge ordered Holland detained on $10,000 bail and he remained Wednesday evening in the custody of the Merrimack County Department of Corrections. It was unknown if he has an attorney.
