Sarah Elizabeth Karg and Gregory Thomas McGowan were married at the Immaculate Conception Church on June 20, 2009. The Reverend Robert Guillemette officiated at the ceremony. A reception followed at the Radisson Hotel in Nashua, NH.
The bride is the daughter of Kevin and Michele Karg of Nashua, NH. The groom is the son of Linda McGowan and the late Robert McGowan of Eastmeadow, NY.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of Honor was Heidi Karg, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Gillian Sahadi, Adrienne Kolacia, Sarah Mongovan, Danielle Conkling, friends of the bride, and Kristin McGowan, sister of the groom.
Best Man was Peter Cheswick, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Daniel Guas, Leonard Luparello, friends of the groom, Robert McGowan, brother of the groom and James McGowan, cousin of the groom.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Bishop Guertin High School. She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business in 2002 and received her M.B.A. from New York University in 2008. Sarah is a Vice President in Property and International Practice for Marsh, Inc. in Manhattan.
The groom is a 1993 graduate of W.T. Clark high School in Eastmeadow, NY. He received his B.S. in Management from Boston College in 2000.
Gregory is an underwriter for CNA in Manhattan.
After a two week honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia, the couple resides in
Hoboken, N.J.
