Georgetta (Willems) Monchgesang

Georgetta (Willems) Monchgesang, 87, a longtime resident of Nashua, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 surrounded by members of her family and close friends.

She was born on February 17, 1930 in Timor Soe, Indonesia, a daughter of the late Johann and Georgetta Etta (Wilhelmina Kraake) Willems.

She is remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She also remembered for her cooking and love of great food. She loved to shop and pick out the perfect gift for her friends and family.

Georgetta had worked as a records manager for Honeywell for over 25 years in addition to a career in retail.

She was educated in Indonesia prior to moving to Holland. Then she moved to the United States to pursue other opportunities.

Georgetta is survived by her daughter, Yasmin Monchgesang with whom she made her home; and her son, Ronald Monchgesang; her grandchildren, Jason Monchgesang, Jesse Monchgesang and his wife Danielle and Brandon Monchgesang and his wife Molly; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Lilly, Adam, Luna and Stella.

SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at the Community Chapel, 5 St. Laurent St., Nashua on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00. Friends are invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will be held at the convenience of her family.
