Stanley J. Yanuskevich

Stanley Joseph Yanuskevich “Tanny”, 92, of Nashua, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 21, 1924 in Nashua, NH, the son of the late Joseph Yanuskevich and Julia (Legatavich) Yanuskevich. Stanley recently resided at the Veterans Home in Tilton, NH where he received his final salute.

He was the husband of the late Lorraine (LaViolette) Yanuskevich.

Stanley was a High School graduate of Nashua and went on to join the Army Air Corps during WWII. After his time spent serving in the Army Air Corps, Stanley worked as a photo engraver for the Nashua Corporation for 41 years. Stanley was a member of the former St. Casimir Church which became a part of St. Patrick Parish in 2001. He was also a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

Stanley enjoyed all sorts of sports and was a big golf fan. During his youth he played baseball and basketball in school and later played baseball in the Army. Stanley was an avid candlepin bowler and once held the city record for three strings.

Along with his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his sister Mary and his brother Veto.

Stanley is survived by his children Michael Yanuskevich and his wife Denise, and Judy Yanuskevich, all of Nashua; his grandchildren, Erin Yanuskevich and Katie Yanuskevich, Samantha Farrow and husband Jason of Bedford, Ethan Wall of Derry, and Brandon Yanuskevich of Nashua; his great-grandchildren, Riley Farrow, Avery Farrow and Logan Farrow; his sister Helen Zupkosky of Lowell, MA; his nephew John Zupkosky of Milford, NH; as well as several cousins.

SERVICES: There will be no visiting hours. A Funeral Mass and burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements, (603-883-3401) “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER.”
