Anthony Barnaby walked out of the State Prison in July 1990, after prosecutors decided against trying him a fourth time for the murder of two lesbian roommates in Nashua.
Canadian police arrested Barnaby, 43, and David Caplin, 49 in April and charged them in connection with the double murder of Charlene Ranstrom, 48, and Brenda Warner, 32, in their apartment at 7 Mason St., during the night of Oct. 2, 1988.
