NCC Machinist student seeks required ‘tools of the trade’

A machinist is a person who uses machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders and routers to make or modify precision metal parts. Many machinists must be able to use both manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control machinery) that controls the cutting tool speed and cuts to create a part. A job-shop machinist can be a combination toolmaker/production machinist, but quality parts are the expected result. A student hopes a Mailbag tool request will result in success.
